We are located in Upstate New York -- only 25 minutes from Troy, NY and 15 minutes from Bennington, VT. We have access to Grafton Mountain and Pittstown State Forest, an 1155 acre forest situated at the base of the Rensselaer Plateau, which gives the land diverse terrain for a memorable horseback riding experience.
With over 2,000+ wooded acres available, One Trick Pony offers you the opportunity to experience Upstate New York’s beauty in the most natural way…by Horseback! Our trails are heavily wooded and have hills, creek crossings, lots of beautiful hardwood trees, and abundant wildlife. Deer, fox, raccoon, skunks and wild turkeys are often spotted here. The trails are suitable for beginners but also challenging enough to be interesting for more experienced riders. It’s almost as if – for a while – you've stepped back in time to rediscover the natural beauty of days past...
