Riding on the beach with horses is the key feature of the horseback riding stables on the Bahamas. The Bahamas are about 700 islands, but only 30 of these islands are populated. About 350000 people are living on the bahamas, round 70 percent of them live in the biggest and capital city. The name of the capital city of the Bahamas is Nassau. The Bahamas are located in the caribbean sea, so the climate of the Bahamas ist tropical and sub-tropical. Depending of course on which of the islands you are. The best travel time for horseback riding on the Bahamas is round about November till April, so during late autumn, winter and spring. During summer you do not only have higher average temperatures like around 30 degrees Celsius, but you have also plenty of rain during the summer months. In the named travel months the rain is remarkable less than in the months from May to October.

You can go horseback riding on the Bahamas in different locations. Mostly these riding stables are prepared to guide tourist groups with the horses for a ride along the beach or in the sea. So, while you will not really do showjumping or dressage lessons, you will have more possibilities to go horseback riding with the horses on the beautyful beaches of the Bahamas. So just saddle up and enjoy the remarkable scenery and landscape of these tropical islands of the Bahamas. You will canter or trot or even just walk with the horses along sandy impressive beaches. Have fun, it is not the cheapest place to go horseback riding, but it is a great one.
